sleds and dogs and snow

In other news, we had a blizzard on Friday and got 2382 inches of snow to add to our 91735. On Saturday when the temperature was -10 with a windchill of -25 we decided it would be a good idea to go to the dog sled race. Yes thats right, every year we close off the downtown area and use it as a starting point for the U.P. 200. I had hand warmers in my gloves and a half pint of Southern Comfort in my coat pocket, neither of which did a good job of keeping me from freezing. Here are a couple pics of some doggies..and snow
